Just called the White House and a woman answered. I said to her:

“My name is Shehnaz Abdeljaber and I am a US citizen with family trapped in Gaza I have NO way of communicating with them anymore. They and Palestinians in Gaza are being killed,” then I broke down crying. I continue to tell her that “I don’t want my tax money to be sent there to kill my family and we shouldn’t support a nation that supports a country that kills” between sobbing and frustration I have been holding back for a long time now. I told her I went from anger to frustration to not knowing what to do anymore.

She answers, “Please take it easy and take care, I’m sorry. I promise to deliver your message to his office TODAY. Take care” I heard true compassion in her voice.

PLEASE call the WHITE HOUSE if you have family there and let them know how you FEEL. CALL them if you DON’T have family there and let them know you will not be part of this campaign to ethnically cleanse Palestinians from Gaza and the West Bank. Let them know there is a human element that they are ignoring.

Maybe I am naive but I felt a level of “caring” from this woman and she will keep her promise. WE NEED more people calling. Please.
